This year, 41 breakfast attendees became American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network members.

The Hyatt Regency in the Denver Tech Center was able to provide a healthy breakfast that was delish and filling!

This year, there were approximately 225 attendees at this year's breakfast making it one of the most successful!

Dr. Sami Diab is board certified in internal medicine and medical oncology and specializes in medical oncology. He's a member of the American Association of Cancer Research and the American Society of Clinical Oncology. Prior to forming Colorado Integrative Cancer Care, Dr. Diab practiced at Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers.
This year, Dr. Diab was able to bring a new perspective to the kickoff breakfast and shared his insight of where he sees this disease going in the coming years as well as what women need to do to prevent breast cancer.

Linda Rhea has been a participant of Making Strides Against Breast Cancer since its inception, five years ago. After meeting Linda, you're inspired to not only raise funds for the Society, but talk to women about what can be done to fight breast cancer. She's an inspiration to so many!

This year we were so honored to have Melody Mendez, the morning anchor at FOX 31, host the breakfast. She did such a great job, was able to encourage and inspire those in attendance!

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer 5K coming up June 12 at Washington Park in Denver.
